Generation is Saint Vincent College’s literary and art magazine.
First published in 1962, Generation is produced entirely by SVC students, from the original submission call to the design and distribution. In 2019, we opened our submission call to alumni for the first time, embracing the heart of Generation’s mission: to promote connections between generations past, present, and (hopefully) future.
Generation opens to submissions of creative writing and visual art from all SVC students and alumni yearly. Our editorial staff review all submissions blind and select work for publication based on how well it succeeds in what it is trying to accomplish.
